1. Who this covers
This policy explains how Rita Stevens ("we", "us") handles information in the Jewel Peck mobile app (the "App"). Jewel Peck is a hopper you play on your iPhone: tap to move forward, swipe to dodge hazards, and Deliver snacks on safe lanes across three worlds. Gameplay itself does not need an account.
By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please delete the App.
2. What stays on your iPhone
Local progress only. Best scores, medals, achievements, streak, world records, sound/music/haptic settings, and onboarding status are stored on your device (UserDefaults). We do not run player accounts or cloud saves.
Runs, scores, and settings stay on the device. No sign-in is required to play.
3. What we collect
Besides local save data, the App may collect a small set of technical identifiers so we can measure installs, send optional push notices, and keep the App working as intended. This is not your scores, medals, or play-by-play.
- An install identifier from our attribution partner (AppsFlyer), such as AppsFlyer ID.
- If you tap Allow on Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you tap Ask App Not to Track, we do not read IDFA.
- A push-notification identifier if you allow notifications, so we can send you optional alerts through our push provider (OneSignal).
- Basic device context sent with those services (for example app bundle id, language, time zone, and a generic device user-agent string).
We do not collect your name, email, or contacts through the game, and we do not upload your snack-run progress.
4. Network use
Gameplay does not need the internet. The App may still connect in the background to AppsFlyer and our push provider, and it may request a short status check from our site (including this privacy page). You can also open links yourself, such as the App Store.
We do not use crash reporters that log your play sessions, and we do not run in-game ads.
5. Why this information exists
Local data keeps your bests, achievements, and settings. Identifiers above help us understand that Jewel Peck was installed from the App Store, send optional notifications you agree to, and operate the App. We do not sell this information.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not share your snack-run scores with advertisers or data brokers.
Apple, AppsFlyer, and OneSignal may process technical data under their own policies when you use the App Store, attribution, or push notifications. You can review Apple, AppsFlyer, and OneSignal.
7. Your choices
- Turn sounds, music, or haptics off in Settings.
- Reset records in Settings to clear local bests and achievements on that device.
- Change tracking for Jewel Peck in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Turn off notifications for Jewel Peck in iOS Settings → Notifications.
- Delete the App to remove local save data from that device.
8. Children
Jewel Peck is a casual game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal data, email us and we will delete it.
9. Policy updates
We may update this page when the App changes. The new version will appear here with a revised date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
